It never ceases to amaze me how different the girls are. And, just when they settle into a routine they change again.
For a long time Sansa was the fussy baby. She always wanted attention, was terrible at nursing and bottle feeding, would not accept a soother, and screamed during diaper changes. I attributed that to her being the smaller one. Then all of the sudden the girls flipped.
Now June is the one who fusses, will not accept a soother, she nurses fine but doesn’t take a bottle that well and wakes up at night twice as much as her sister. I am wondering if its because she is going through a growth spurt Sansa hasn’t reached yet, or Sansa has grown up a bit. I guess I’ll know.more in a couple of weeks.
I admit that I probably only notice their traits to begin with because I unconsciously compare them, and if I had just one baby it would be different (no! I don’t remember far back enough to compare to baby Sawyer, it was all a blur!) Still, I guess the point I am trying to make is that twins are still two different people and remember that they are always growing and changing. So if times are tough, remember things will be different before you know it. Just take it one day at a time.
