Well, the weather is finally starting to warm up (knock on wood) and I really want to start getting out of the house. Plus I would like to start getting some exercise and getting back in shape. I think I have done well (I am down to 130 lbs from 172) but I am all mushy! :-p
Problem is, I am very unsure about going out with three kids. I know I have to start somewhere but it just seems like such a daunting amount of work for such a little pay off. I mean, I know I won’t know until I try, but… Well, I guess a part of me just longs for the time when I can throw on my shoes, crank the tunes and walk for miles with the dogs, not a care in the world. And hey, I can still do that (sort of) on Jeff’s days off but once a week isn’t much.
I also elected to purchase a long stroller rather than a wide one (for many reasons) but with the car seats in it, I can’t fit it through the front door! Epic fail. LOL So getting it out and getting the twins set up will also require a plan. Sadly our back yard is very tiny and not fenced in (it’s communal) so it isn’t really a great place to play and no good for the dogs. Plus, in order to fit all the girls’ stuff in our bedroom we had to put furniture right across the patio door, rendering the back inaccessible from the house. Boo!
Sorry this blog is more of a stream of consciousness rather than composed thoughts, but that’s just how it is sometimes. I guess I look forward to blogging about our adventures outside the house 🙂
