We Did It! Our First Outing

We did it! I conquered the challenge of leaving the house! Yes, the stroller fit through the door and yes Sawyer didn’t have an accident. I am so proud of all of us. Forty five minutes out and no crying! Their first time out was as good as Sawyer’s best time out! The bad news is all three car seats will not fit in the car 😦 So we are limited to walking for a long time.

About Shannon

I am a university educated full-time working mother of four children. Proudly Canadian, I freeze my butt off along with my loving partner, two dogs and a cat. I hope you enjoy reading my posts as much as I love writing them, but if you have nothing nice to say, don't say anything at all.

  1. Aww, good for you! Naughty car for not growing with your family! πŸ˜‰ Looks like you went to Babies R Us?

    • We went to Marshalls. Lucky for me I have a HomeSense, Marshalls and Tims at the end of my residential street πŸ™‚

So ticked about the car situation. We need to use our savings for a house more, but only beings able to go out on foot is very limiting 😦

      Cheers, Shannon

      • Oh yes, lucky indeed! πŸ˜€ We only have neighborhoods within walking distance! We share a car and my husband drives it to work every day, so we’re “stuck” too. πŸ˜‰

  2. I just posted about one of my own first-outing with my son and twin girls. πŸ™‚ Looks like we have close to the same age children.

  3. Just wondering if the car would fit two rear facing car seats and instead of sawyers car seat in the middle, could he now go into a booster seat which is smaller and less wide? He is tall enough, but is he 40 lbs? My little guy is still too light (31 lbs) to go into a booster, but we are counting the days! More space in our car, that’s for sure!
