Chip Clips: For More Than Just Chips

Would you belive I carry these in my purse! LOL

When I first saw chip clips in the store, I was already smitten with them. So much better than twist ties or elastics for keeping your snacks fresh and they are easily reused.

I was even happier when I found out you can buy an entire bag for $2.99 at IKEA.

Soon, I learned they have other uses.

Use them to squeeze the last bit of toothpaste out of the tube.

Use them to tie up cord slack to.prevent cords from getting tangled or being reached by the dog/kids

Use them to tie up slack blind cords as well.

Use them as a guide to cut things in straight lines (someone I know actually used them to help cut her bangs).

Use them as a holder for your hair elastics. They are accessible and all together and easy to find when you need them.

…how do you use them? Please comment below.

  1. Wow. That’s ingenious. I haven’t seen this type of chip clip in a long time though. We had them growing up and they sucked for actual chip bags. Lol. Now all the clips with have are like spring loaded clothespin style.

  2. I like the idea for keeping cords away from kids. My boys are obsessed with cords!
