Wordless Wednesday: Hello from Tim Hortons

We are at Tims today on our walk and there was an older lady behind me.

Her: oh cute, twins. Is it a boy and a girl?

Me: no, two girls.

Her: But one is wearing pink and one is wearing blue.

Me: Yeah, but it’s a dress :-p

  1. Bahahaha. Seriously. Always “a boy and girl, right?” And the fact that they ARGUE as if maybe you are so sleep deprived you forgot the true genders of your children. Oh lawdy!

  2. Ha ha! Sounds like the kind of thing I get asked all the time. My personal favourite is “are they identical?”. They both have long blonde hair, are the same height, have the same colour eyes etc. What is so funny about that is that most people say to me “how can you tell them apart?” 🙂
