Then and Now: Nine Months Postpartum Twin Belly Pics


Since the twins have now been on the outside as long as they were on the inside I thought I’d put together a little photo montage.

Top images are current images taken today (please excuse my bathroom, it’s the only mirror I’ve got).

Bottom images are me at six weeks pregnant, and me at almost 37 weeks pregnant. I am wearing the same shirt and pants in both the top and bottom pics.

As an added bonus,  notice my wicked twin arms compared to before! Lol I have not gone to a gym or worked out a day since long before I got pregnant. My body is strictly the result of three kids (bearing them and raising them). I live an extremely active and busy lifestyle and I am very careful about what I eat.


In case you don’t follow my blog (please do) I gained 55lbs when was pregnant (from 115lbs-172lbs) with the twins and they were born at 7.5lbs and 6lbs so they were big.

  3. Shannon, you look absolutely fabulous. I think I will need your workout tips. I run and exercise regularly but having kids over 40 has def. slowed me down. tips for muffintop please!

    • Lol thanks! I am mid thirties so I have that on you, but I have an awful metabolism. Have you read the post on the game of diapers diet and exercise plan? It’s a joke of course but all true.y secret is just always being busy and I don’t eat big meals. Cereal for lunch or dinner is one of my staples. Nutritious and low cal. Remember you can do anything if you put your mind to it. The biggest obstacles we face exist only in our minds. Good luck!
