How To Follow Every Single Piece of Parenting Advice You Hear by Sparrow at Space Monkey Twins

bookphotoI love this post, as it is in keeping with my #1 piece of parenting advice and I couldn’t have written it better myself!  Here’s to trial and error!

Sparrow is a writer, illustrator, and the mother of twin baby girls. Space Monkey Twins is a record of her challenges and joys in Sunset Park, Brooklyn.

A Simple, Scientifically Proven Way to “Buy” Happiness for Your Family by Sumitha from A Fine Parent.

This is one of those “A-ha” posts that I love reading so be sure to check it out and change your perspective on spending.

Sumitha is a mother of a five-year old girl who has devoted her website to helping parents with their journey. Her motto is “Great parents are made, not born.”

Dear Ultrasound Sonographer from Mama et Maman.

This is a unique blog from someone in my hometown about two mothers trying to conceive their first baby.  Not only does she have a great spirit, but a great sense of humour so definitely check this one out.

I Launder therefore I am ( entitled to a cocktail) by Shannon at Shannon Day’s Martinis and Motherhood.  Her post is all about imagethe woes of laundry and how to make them go away with a tasty drink.

Shannon Day is a mom to 3 little ladies, the wife of one gorgeous Brit, a former teacher, a story maker and, occasionally, a cocktail shaker.

Funny Stuff My Kids Said by Olivia Fitzgerald of Put The Kettle On.

ID-10077461Olivia is a kindred spirit to me since we are both Irish, have twins and share a love of animals and tea.  She has written for some of Ireland’s top parenting magazines and has now turned her sights to blogging. She is new to the blogging scene but I expect great things from her.

Lunchtime With Gluten Free Kids by Heather from Our Magical Chaos.

20140115-103948Lunchtime is never easy, especially when you are trying to cook a certain way (I know from being vegetarian) so check out these great gluten-free lunch ideas.

Heather is a stay at home mom raising a preschooler and twindependent toddlers.  She is all about being healthy, staying fit, and leading a full and happy life.

I Am Making A Pledge To Hug My Children.

  3. Thanks for the shout out, Shannon! Can’t wait to catch up on all the other posts. Signing up to your list as well – love that it’s so convenient to sign up right through the comment form. Do you use a plugin for that or is it part of your template?

    • Thanks for stopping by. I really love that post and I have shared it with my friends and family and on reddit lol. As for the comment form, that is just part of my template. I tried to choose things that make it easy for people because that’s what I like. Enjoy your weekend (I am looking forward to tomorrow’s article 🙂

      • Ah, OK. I’ve seen that little check box on several blogs, but my template doesn’t have it. I was hoping it was a plugin. Will go investigate if there is a similar plugin.

And thanks for the encouraging words about the article. I’m loving the articles you write as well! Birds of same feather…? 🙂

      • Thanks so much, I definitely strive to be a fine parent! I have some articles upcoming in the next few weeks creating space and redefining strength that I think you will appreciate. Feel free to stop by when you have the chance. My blog is really a mishmash but I try to have at least one meaningful article per week (you can’t have a huge realization every day lol). Best wishes.
