Wordless Wednesday: The Life Story of My Necklace

As I watched my daughter sucking on my favourite necklace it occurred to me that it was one of those items.

You know, one that you got a long time ago, when you had no clue what your future would be.  While I have toys from my youth I have passed on to my kids, this is different because I wear it almost everyday so it has literally seen me through the best and worst of times.   It has seen me through different jobs, hairstyles, friendships, dogs, and finally kids (the babies absolutely love playing with it).  Wow, if it could talk I thought.  Here are just a few of the pics I could find with it to give you an idea.  In some you can only see the chain, but I assure you, it’s there.

Do you have one of those items?  A t-shirt?  A wallet?  Share your story in the comment section.

  1. Yay road trip to pittsburgh! The necklace is beautiful and looks unique–nice to have something that people can associate with you like that.
