Hallowe’en

A great poem for Halloween I just had to share as this is my favourite time of year 🙂

A Collection of Characters

Tonight’s the night of dark, not light
As kids walk ’round from door to door
Their time to revel in horrible fright
Of ghouls and goblins and witches and more

As kids walk ’round from door to door
Dressed in costumes from head to toe
Of ghouls and goblins and witches and more
Hauntingly lit by the streetlights’ glow

Dressed in costumes from head to toe
Children carry bags of sugary treats
Hauntingly lit by the streetlights’ glow
Continually chanting “Trick-or-treat!”

Determined to fill them to the top
Continually chanting “Trick-or-treat!”
Were it up to them, they’d never stop

They continue on for many a time

Until the next day’s school bell chime
